Michael Pleau
Owner
Michael is an integral member of our team, rejoining the company in 2004 after serving as a Senior Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Portland, Maine. A native of Maine, he holds an Accounting degree from Husson College, earned in 2000. Michael brings over 25 years of diverse expertise to our team as a co-owner and co-founder of two thriving enterprises. His extensive background spans commercial painting, construction, and real estate investment. His unwavering commitment lies in creating value, resolving intricate business challenges and foster long-lasting collaborations with clients and partners. Michael capitalizes on his skill set, including proficiency in new business development, customer relationship management and effective team leadership. This enables him to spearhead lead generation, navigate complex contract negotiations and oversee transaction management with finesse. Furthermore, Michael is a driving force behind our strategic marketing, branding and online presence efforts. His constant pursuit of growth and innovation fortifies our position in the dynamic business landscape.
Alex Pleau
Owner
Alex is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the commercial painting industry. A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Alex earned his degree in Business in 2010 and has since played a significant role in both the technical and management aspects of commercial and industrial coatings. In the painting industry, Alex's expertise has been instrumental in driving growth and innovation. His keen understanding of the field's complexities and his ability to manage large-scale projects and build relationships have made him a respected figure in the industry. Alex co-founded a thriving real estate investing company, where he continues to play a pivotal role in overseeing growth strategies and fostering partnerships. This venture demonstrates Alex's versatile business acumen and his knack for identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities. Apart from his professional achievements, Alex has a strong passion for sports. He currently serves as the president of both the Maine Association of Soccer Officials and the Maine Lacrosse Officials Association, roles that highlight his leadership skills and commitment to promoting sportsmanship and fair play in the community. With a balance of professional expertise in both the commercial and real estate sectors and a dedication to community through sports, Alex Pleau stands as a dynamic leader and an example of successful multifaceted entrepreneurship.
John Pleau
Estimator
John has a rich and diverse career in the painting and coatings industry:
- 1984-1992: During this period, John established and successfully operated his own self-employed residential and commercial painting company, gaining valuable experience and expertise in the field.
- 1992-2018: In 1992, John merged his company with Northeast Painting and Coatings, where he assumed the role of Vice President. Over the course of 26 years, he played a crucial role in the company's growth and success.
- Current: John currently serves as an Estimator, bringing his extensive knowledge and experience to the estimation process, ensuring that projects are accurately assessed and planned.
John Pleau's long and accomplished career in the painting and coatings industry showcases his dedication, leadership and expertise in various aspects of the field.

David has been an integral part of our company since its inception in 1988.
